Join us for a hands-on creative workshop celebrating colour, pattern and personal expression - inspired by the prints of Humphries and Begg and using the iconic Annie Sloan Chalk Paints.

Tristan Merriam (Doghead Designs and Brand Ambassador of Annie Sloan) will deliver the workshop. You will replicate some of the gorgeous prints using Chalk Paint on wooden boards using brushes and mark-making techniques using found objects such as cardboard, sponges and potatoes! You will then have the opportunity to create your own design on a small object (for example a photo frame, a box etc) that will be sourced from a local, vintage, pre-loved shop that you will be able to take home. 

Whether you're a seasoned upcycler or just discovering the joys of DIY, this inspiring session will guide you through the magic of mixing colour, layering patterns and bringing bold ideas to life.

You'll learn:

• How to create unique colour palettes using Annie Sloan paints
• Techniques for applying pattern and texture to furniture or decor
• Tips on using mark making, masking and brushwork with confidence

All materials will be provided and you'll leave with your own painted sample board, small designed object and plenty of inspiration for future projects. Expect a relaxed sociable atmosphere, with refreshments, a break for lunch and expert guidance throughout.
